Architectural Drafter

About the Role

Good Life Group / TOV is seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Drafter to join our growing team. Due to increased project demand and an existing drafting backlog, we are expanding our drafting department to better support internal Good Life projects as well as outside clients.

This role is critical to helping the team maintain a consistent 2–3 week turnaround time and efficiently close out active projects. We are looking for experienced candidates who can contribute immediately with minimal training and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit 
  • Produce residential and commercial drafting plans accurately and efficiently 
  • Revise plans and address building department corrections/comments 
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, and internal teams throughout project development 
  • Ensure drawings meet company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes 
  • Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality 
  • Support the team in reducing existing project backlog and maintaining production timelines 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of Revit experience 
  • Minimum 1–2 years of residential and/or commercial drafting experience 
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience responding to building department corrections 
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and drafting standards 
  • Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced, open office environment 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines consistently 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preparing permit-ready construction documents 
  • Familiarity with California residential and commercial building processes 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Experience collaborating in a team-oriented office environment
